Ocular Surface Treatment
Treatments for dry eye include eyedrops called artificial tears to lubricate the eyes and help maintain moisture, warm compresses to the eyelid glands to keep the pores open, and antibiotics/anti-inflammatory medications to control the irritation is also effective, including Restasis & Azasite. Your ophthalmologist may conserve your tears by closing the channels through which your tears drain as well.

Additionally, Dr. Kamat is one of only 4 locations, as of 2010, in in the US to offer a novel new treatment in the office that reduces patient's need/dependence on local therapy and eye drops.
